01 · Why documentation

A clear record beats a guess — every time you need one

Roof decisions get made with money on the table: after storms, before sales, during disputes, at budget time. Organized documentation means those decisions start from what is actually visible, not from memory or someone else’s photos.

Safer visual access

See steep, tall, and fragile roofs in detail without putting a person on them — no ladders, no roof walks, no waiting for someone brave.

Organized records, not photo dumps

Every deliverable is labeled and structured. You get a report you can navigate, not a folder of two hundred unexplained drone photos.

Built for sharing

A secure link makes it simple to hand the full package to your roofer, insurer, board, buyer, or business partner — everyone sees the same record.

Repeatable by design

The same sections, angles, and structure every visit. That consistency is what makes records comparable across months and years.

Before-and-after clarity

Side-by-side comparisons of the same roof sections across dates — after storms, around repairs, or across a construction schedule.

Delivered securely

Completed packages arrive through a secure delivery link, organized and ready to file, forward, or archive.

04 · The deliverable

What an organized roof report actually looks like

Every project is delivered as a structured package — not a memory card. A typical report includes:

  • Cover with property identifier, date, and service type
  • Property overview imagery
  • Roof sections and elevations, clearly labeled
  • Detail images with plain-language, neutral notes
  • Delivery details and sharing instructions
  • The documentation disclaimer — what this is, and what it is not

05 · Process

From request to report

  1. Tell us about the property

Address, property type, the service you need, and anything specific you want captured. Two minutes on the request form.

  2. We review the project, weather, and airspace

Every address gets a scope, weather, and airspace check — some Tulsa-area locations need an extra review step, and we build that in.

  3. The documentation flight is scheduled

You get a confirmed window. If Oklahoma weather intervenes, we tell you early and move to the next suitable window.

  4. Images and deliverables are organized

Imagery is reviewed, labeled by roof section, and assembled into a clean report — unusable frames are cut, not dumped on you.

  5. The completed package is delivered securely

A secure link with everything organized and ready to share. Keep it, forward it, or archive it with your property records.

07 · Common questions

Straight answers first

What is drone roof documentation?

It is an organized visual record of a roof and property exterior, captured from the air. A structured flight photographs the roof section by section — overviews, labeled areas, and detail images — and the results are organized into a report you can keep, compare against later, and share with the professionals you work with.

Is this the same as a roof inspection?

No, and the difference matters. An inspection includes professional judgments about condition, defects, and needed work, made by a licensed professional. Documentation is the organized visual record — what is visible, labeled and dated. Many customers use our documentation as the clear starting point for a licensed roofer, inspector, or engineer to apply their expertise to.

Can I submit the documentation to my insurance company?

The deliverables are yours, and sharing them with your insurer or the licensed professionals handling your claim is common. Be aware of what the documentation is: a dated visual record. Insurers make their own determinations through their own processes.

Can you fly immediately after a storm?

As soon as conditions allow — which can be the same week, but is never guaranteed to be the same day. Post-storm flying depends on weather clearing, site safety, and occasionally temporary flight restrictions after major events. Early requests schedule first.

What happens when a property is near an airport?

Parts of the Tulsa metro fall within controlled airspace connected to area airports. Those addresses need an additional airspace review before a flight can be confirmed — a routine step we handle and build into the timeline. Being near an airport rarely means "no"; it usually means "one more step."

What will I receive?

A typical package includes high-resolution aerial photographs organized by roof section, property overview images, detail images of areas of interest, and a downloadable documentation report — all delivered through a secure link. Exact contents depend on the service and what you request.

Tulsa Roof Reports provides visual property documentation. Deliverables are informational and do not replace evaluations performed by licensed roofing, engineering, insurance, inspection, or construction professionals.
